WEDDING SERVICES

As your wedding officiant, I will: ​

​

  • Assist couples with the creation of their wedding vows.

  • Perform the services of a professional Marriage Minister/Officiant for the Wedding Ceremony. â€‹

  • Submit the marriage license to the California County Recorder’s Marriage Office within the allowed 10-day period after the wedding ceremony has been completed.

Please note that a marriage license is required to perform a valid wedding ceremony. This can be purchased from the California County Recorder’s Marriage Office up to 90 days previous to the wedding date. Please check early, as County Offices now require appointments to get the marriage license issued.

HELPFUL TIPS

An appointment is required to obtain a marriage license and/or civil ceremony.

 

Appointment hours are from 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

 

To schedule an appointment for our San Diego Downtown, San Marcos and El Cajon offices, please call (619)237-0502.

 

The marriage license fee is payable to the County that it is issued in within California.  The issued marriage license paperwork will need to be brought to the officiant on or before wedding day so a witness and the officiant can sign it and then submit it back to the County Office.
